New to Meditation
Insight Santa Cruz offers courses throughout the year for those new to meditation. New to Practice: Introduction to Mindfulness is a six-week course that includes a period of guided meditation, instruction on basic Buddhist thought, and discussions of the Four Noble Truths, the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, common obstacles to meditation, and wholesome mind states like loving-kindness and compassion.
Whether you are new to meditation or want a more comprehensive base for your practice, all are welcome. Upcoming classes are shown in the calendar below.
