Changes to Online Giving

We have stopped using DonorBox for reasons of cost and complexity. If you need to visit your account, please use this link.

Using a Donor-Advised Fund

There are many Donor-Advised Funds (DAF) that can optimize tax benefits and increase your impact on your favorite charities. Donations to a DAF qualify as charitable tax deductions. Several brokerage services, such as Vanguard, Fidelity, and Charles Schwab, have a relationship with a DAF.

ISC has directed giving pages with two Donor-Advised Funds. Our pages can be found at Network for Good’s newest site, Network for Good’s older site, and PayPal Giving.

This is how a DAF works: An ISC member donates to the DAF and at the same time instructs the DAF to grant the donation amount to ISC. The DAF manages the donation transaction and provides a tax-deductible receipt to the donor. The DAF will then transfer the designated grant amount to ISC. ISC sends a thank you to the donor however ISC will not include the DAF donation amount in its tax-deductible receipt to the donor.
