Weekly Practice Group: Applied Buddhism – September 23

This 6-week zoom offering is for anyone drawn to “dharma” conversation as a way of deepening practice and engaging dharma conversation. Each session includes 30-minute formal sitting practice, 15-minute dharma teaching, and group discussions. Discussions are designed to support mediators to delve deeply into dharma topics applied to daily life. Sitting with others in sangha is a wholesome way to give and feel support, solidify teachings and to identify less with our rogue minds. Dharma topics include Four Foundations of Mindfulness, Sutta references, Brahmaviharas, and more.

Come on any single day or come to all of the Thursdays. Beginners and ongoing mediators all welcome. For more info contact [email protected].

Together, we forge, cultivate and walk the path to soften and free the heart.

No registration required. A weekly summary of the teaching and discussion is e-mailed out to support the practice. If interested, please register e-mail with [email protected]
