Weekend Retreat with Ajahn Ñāniko – Hybrid
Weekend Retreat with Ajahn Ñāniko
Ajahn Ñāniko, Abbot of Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in Redwood Valley, California, will teach Friday evening and a full day on Saturday at ISC.
There will be alternating sitting and walking meditation, a Dharma talk, and time for questions. There will also be a formal meal offering for the Abbot with chanting—all are welcome to offer and share in the meal.
This is a special opportunity to experience teachings from the Thai Forest tradition, a lineage many people know through the teachings of Ajahn Chah—often spontaneous, down to earth, and sprinkled with humor.
ISC is very fortunate to continue our long-standing tradition of bringing monks to ISC. In-person events had been interrupted by the COVID Pandemic. We hope you can join us in this very rich way to receive the teachings of the Buddha.
Please return to the calendar to join an online session or learn of any schedule updates.
Attend either online or in person at the Meditation Center. If you choose to attend in person, we request that you not use any fragrance. This protects the health of our sangha members who have a sensitivity to fragrance
