Practice/Discussion: Buddhism in Daily Life – Thursdays

For Ongoing Beginners, Deep Practitioners, and New to Practice

This Practice Group is offered on Thursday mornings throughout the year, with topics changing monthly. Each week is designed to support meditators to delve into Buddhist teachings applied to daily living. Sitting with others is a wholesome way to solidify teachings, identify less with our rogue minds, and feel the connection of sangha. Dharma topics include the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, Eightfold Path, the Four Noble Truths, stories from the Buddha, Metta, Heart qualities, and more. Each session includes a 30 minute formal sitting practice, 15 ish minute dharma teaching, and small/large group discussions. Everyone welcome.

To receive a weekly e-mail summarizing Buddhist themes and references please send an e-mail to Karen Zelin.

Please return to the calendar to join an online session or learn of any schedule updates.
