New to Practice – Topics for Wednesdays in May

The month of May’s New to Practice will explore the Refuges and Precepts. Many of us come to practice seeking refuge and Buddhism offers us three, the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. Taking refuge in the “Three Jewels” is one of the most common rituals a practitioner performs and can become a source of inspiration for practice. The Five Training Precepts are the guidelines we can follow to find joy and happiness by not causing harm, to ourselves or others. Following the precepts is a choice we can make to live more skillfully. Please join me for any or all Wednesday nights in May, all are welcome.
