Death Cafe – Sundays

Offering an opportunity once a month to gather and talk about death. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. We will talk about death in a safe and confidential space in order to make the most of our lives. It is a drop in group, all are welcome. Death cafes are open to and respectful of all people of all communities and belief systems. Some basic ground rules: listening when people are talking, respect for others’ views and confidentiality.

You are welcome to arrive early to get a drink or snack at the Abbott Sq Market so that we can begin at 11.  It is okay to be tardy and get added to a small group when you get there.  We plan to meet at the back of Abbott Sq outside the MAH lobby. Wear layers. If inclement, the session will be held at the Center.

Please return to the calendar to learn of any schedule updates.
