Dawn NealTeacherDawn Neal, Guiding Teacher of Insight Santa Cruz, has devoted several years to silent retreat. She has an MA in Theravāda Buddhist studies, and professional experience as an interfaith spiritual care counselor (chaplain). Her practice includes ordaining in Burma, where she was authorized to teach Buddhist practice through the lens of Mettā. She has been teaching meditation since 2010. We highly recommend that onsite attendees be fully vaccinated, including boosters, per CDC guidelines. The use of an N95/KN95 mask is optional at this event. ISC will provide a mask if you need one, but you can support the center by bringing your own.
