Volunteer-led Sit and Short Reading – Sundays

ISC’s long-standing volunteer-led sit is now at a new time! Please join us for a lightly guided meditation in the Insight Meditation tradition, followed by a short reading.

This offering ends 15 minutes before ISC’s 10am teacher-led sit and Dharma talk. Interested practitioners can attend either, or combine the two sittings to form a short half-day retreat.

All are welcome! Come as you are.

9 AM. Volunteer-led Sunday sit with light guidance (online and in center)
9:45 AM. Break
10 AM. Silent sit (in center only at first)
10:35 AM. Dharma talk (in center only at first)
11:15 AM. Closing and community connection time
The fourth Sunday refuges and precepts will now take place during the teacher-led part of the program, and will remain hybrid. All are welcome to stay for a community tea immediately after the fourth Sunday program ends.

Attend either online or in person at the Meditation Center. If you choose to attend in person, we request that you not use any fragrance. This protects the health of our sangha members who have a sensitivity to fragrance

Masks Are Optional

We highly recommend that onsite attendees be fully vaccinated, including boosters, per CDC guidelines. The use of an N95/KN95 mask is optional at this event. ISC will provide a mask if you need one, but you can support the center by bringing your own.
