Wednesday Evenings in November: Anchoring in the Outer World

Have you ever wondered how to stay present, how to live in this moment, rather than slipping into past memory or future fantasy?  We will use specific techniques* to focus on sight, sound and physical touch, developing the qualities of sensory clarity, concentration, and equanimity or balance of mind.     *Techniques based on the work of Shinzen Young

New to Practice. On these Wednesday evenings, there will be short, guided meditations with instructions using the specific techniques developed by Shinzen Young. This class is open to anyone from any faith tradition, and can be started on any Wednesday evening.

Open to everyone, from brand new meditators to experienced meditators.

This class is taught by the Teachers: Jill Hyman and Bruce Hyman

When: Wednesdays, November 5, 12, and 19
Time: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Cost: There is no charge, dana accepted.
