Dharma Friends: Caring for Our Planet

An important part of our path of practice is “wise action” — and in today’s world of major ecological challenges such action is seen by many Buddhist leaders as  needing to address these issues facing our planet.
We are forming a dharma friends group to share in learning more about these issues and reflecting together on what our own path of wise response may be.  The resources will include materials from an on-line course being offered this fall by One Earth Sangha. The group will meet four times at the homes of various members. We will share a short practice, discuss resource materials , and support each other in how we face these environmental challenges  with wisdom and compassion.

Please contact John Moir email hidden; JavaScript is required, or Leslie Tremaine  email hidden; JavaScript is required with questions  and to indicate your interest, so we can share information on locations and access to materials with you

Dates: Monday October 26, November 9, November 23, and December 14

Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Cost: There is no charge, dana accepted.

Registration: No registration required, please contact one of the emails above for location information and access materials.

Teacher: This group is peer led with occasional visits by teachers or training teachers.

Everyone Welcome.
